Hello, We opened October 7th, 2016.
What a delight! A bright place with lovely food (fresh hummus! a thoughtful and enjoyable cheese plate! roasted zucchini! lobster pasta!) and a very nerdy wine list. Your curiosity will be rewarded. Excited to come back soon!
You'll never get the same thing twice, which is why I love The Atlantic. If you want the same thing every time, there's a Popeyes close-by.The Atlantic is wonderful for singles, groups, dates, and all the generations.Screw the yelp menu (because the menu constantly changes) and trust. You'll enjoy it.
I love everything about this place! The salmon was perfection. (I think they made me like quinoa.)The energy of the owners and staff -lovely and engaging.
Best chef in town, best owner in town, enormous wine and craft prohibition-style drinks, off-beat beer choices. So with best chef and owner, of course you get phenomenal locally sourced, seasonal food plates. Cohesive menu, 5 star quality every time. Don't miss it.
This was our first dinner in town and it did not disappoint. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday with no reservation and were seated right away. Our cocktails were delicious (I ordered the Century) but I will admit the tap water here tastes a bit weird...so order a beverage of some sort for sure. The stuffed calamari small plate was our least favorite dish. The sausage masks the taste of the calamari but the flavor of the sausage was good. The dish just wasn't what we expected. The bacon wrapped dates are a MUST and the mushroom pate (though more of a tapenade consistency) was also good. The beef tenderloin main dish was fantastic. Cooked just right and smooth enough to cut with a regular butter knife, no need for a steak knife (which explains why they don't bother to give you one). The beet salad was nice if you are looking for a veggie side. I would definitely come back to this restaurant. Great service, great food.
Discovered the gem by accident and was amazed. They stay true to the farm fresh to table. We like that they still have mercy, not to cook everything to death(2nd time, anyway). And it's actually quite difficult as they MUST relying on fresh ingredients. 🥗🍤🥘🍹🍾👍😘
The food was amazing. No wait time. Super friendly waitress. Overall 5 stars. Only complaint is that the portion sizes are a little small, but that's obviously going to be the case at this type of restaurant.
Would give 6 stars if I could. The service from beginning to end was amazing. Greeted with smiles and friendly faces. Our server was amazing and answered all of our questions and went into detail on the menu- providing his personal suggestions. Pork belly melts in your mouth, and the sauce that accompanies it is amazing. The scallops were cooked perfectly and left you wanting more. The sauce paired with it was out of a dream. The duck was perfectly cooked and filling. The food, the atmosphere, the people, and the service were all beyond expectations.
Cocktails were incredible, food was amazing. Really loved the gas station elements. Lots of cool little details everywhere.
Best service and food. Loved it since we walked in and it only got better. The waiter timed everything perfectly and helped us so much deciding what we wanted. We got the pork belly, duck, risotto and two desserts; the apple pie and bread pudding. Our drinks were AMAZING and honestly everything was perfect.
Seriously good food. Fun and energetic crowd. Plenty of choice for different tastes.
Fantastic food and drinks, made even better by the customer service. There was a slight mix-up with an entree in our order and the kitchen let us keep the incorrect entree, on the house, no questions asked along with quickly delivering the correct. On top of that, the main chef personally delivered a free dessert to end our meal.Everything we ordered was delicious; the lobster pasta, lamb and salmon filet were all top notch if looking for entree ideas.Would recommend Atlantic on the basis of their food alone - but the customer service really shined.
Love eating here, hip modern chic place to grab a drink and food. All the drinks they make are amazing and the food is spot on. Don't be afraid to stop by the Atlantic today.
Great place! A bit on the expensive side, especially if you are having drinks but well worth it. There will be a wait if you come on a Friday or Saturday night but they have a very good system for getting a drink and a snack like some oysters to enjoy while you wait. Loved it and will be back again!
Love the location and space! Service was attentive but not intrusive. All our seafood was prepared perfectly but other components were underseasoned to my taste (I'm not usually a person who loves salt but the spaghetti squash fritters and white bean mash were pretty bland). Recommend anything with shrimp in it!
This place has been empty forever so I was excited to see that a new eatery was coming in. The atmosphere is fantastic and the people are just the most friendly and inviting people you could find. The food was spectacular. Be prepared to wait because it is extremely popular right now for VERY good reason!
Always a friendly staff and the food is great. They take grilled cheese to a whole new level. Thank you all for giving people a great local eatery and for always having a smile on.
Modern, hip, trendy restaurant with fantastic food. Plenty of vegetarian choices. Great bar. The highlight of our visit was friendly staff who are willing to go above and beyond to make your dining experience worth it.
Nice place. Very pretty. I like. I come in. I get to choose my seat. I sit by window. Nice. I like. I see menu. Very small menu. Few choices. Definitely not a family eatery. I see something I like. Delicious grilled cheese and soup. I learn they put BLUE CHEESE ON IT. Blue cheese? Blue cheese does not deserve to ever be put on a grilled cheese. Please if you are reading this, take blue cheese off and then put some more options on the menu. BTW if you’re hungry and have a low budget don’t eat here. Please. 3 stuffed calamari for I think $13. Won’t be coming back, but hey, don’t let me stop you.
Hands down one of the best restaurants in town! Incredible service, selection, and wonderfully accommodating for those who eat vegan or vegetarian diets.
So delicious! I love this place so much. Food is great and service is wonderful, too! Definitely would recommend to anyone who loves seafood and good wine.
It was a great venue for a small family wedding. Excellent food and service!!
I don’t know where to begin. First off, the place is gorgeous!! The food is delicious!!! The restaurant is easy to get to, and there is plenty of parking. They are located right on Victory Drive in Savannah. You can eat inside or outside. The food is fantastic! The menu is clearly labeled with vegan options. The wine list is incredibly good. The service is fantastic! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I got mushroom pate and the zucchini with the cashew ricotta. I’ve had a few other things there as well, but those two stood out the most to me. They were delicious! I would recommend sitting at the bar and chatting with the staff!!!!! Check this place out!!!! A neighborhood gem!!!! ❤️
The food is creative and delicious. The service is great. It's not too noisy! They worked on the acoustics and it is much better. Plus, they do Saturday lunch now.
Some of the best service, food and atmosphere you can find in Savannah. So happy you guys are here. Keep doing everything you’re doing! It’s always an incredible experience.
Fantastic food and wine. Menu changes seasonally. We eat here often and are always impressed!
Beautiful restaurant, warm greeting at the door, extremely knowledgeable waitstaff (Margaret), well made and well executed menu, very fair prices. It was a perfect dining experience. I can not recommend this place enough, it’s excellent.
I went here for dinner with some friends. A friend of our friend swore this place was fantastic, I thought it was an average restaurant serving fancy dishes. We started with the kimchee pancakes which we phenomenal. If you go here, get those. Anyway, that set the bar high for my duck breast but I was let down. Presentation was nice but it was chewy. I also tried the braised lamb which was kind of dry and the pork belly which was pretty decent. All around 3 stars.
The food was delicious and our waitress Nikki was absolutely amazing. Thank you chef for the complimentary greens.
Nice and trendy. I'm from New York so it was nice to find a place like this in Savannah. Food was great, drinks were delicious and different.. Staff were super courteous .. Only thing make reservations if you can as we had to wait a while. But we'll work the wait.
I love this great spot for tapas, dinner, great wine and expert mixology!
Fantastic fresh fare with vegan options. Really fun staff and atmosphere. Lots of small plates to try as well as a few nice entrees as well. The mixed drinks are amazingly fresh and complex. The prices were good for the quality of food and drink.
The Atlantic is one of those places that makes you feel like you're a regular even if it's your first time visiting. I've only eaten there twice so far but the service was always lovely. Sat at the bar both times and each of the bartenders were knowledgeable and excited to talk about what they offered (both good and drink). Last time I went I had the Pork Belly dish which was amazing. The bartender made me a really good French 75 which wasn't on the menu but they gladly made it for me anyway. If you want to sit at a table be ready for a wait, especially on the weekend. They also have a lot of vegan options as well and they are generally accommodating with food concerns. Highly recommended.
From the moment we sat down we were delighted with the knowledge of our server Dustin. The cocktails were incredible and the bacon wrapped dates were delicious! The lobster roll tasted as though it was straight from Cape Cod! It is impossible for this quaint but bustling restuarant to disappoint you! Cannot wait for our next date night!!
What a nice little gem! It’s more spacious than you would think from outside. Nice atmosphere, inside, and also 2 outside seating options. The cocktails are quite creative. I had the Laredo last time, very tasty. We all shared the golden beet salad and some delicious little roasted peppers. My husband had the porcetta, a pork belly roll. He never chooses the pork, it he loved it. I had the whole fish, was absolutely delicious. We go there from time to time. It is a great place for casual atmosphere but creative good food. Would recommend for both locals, also for visitors.
Great food and service. Meatballs and bacon wrapped figs especially, and two tides IPA. outdoor seating area is nice
Great food and service. Gabby was excellent, super knowledgeable about the food, preparation, and ingredients. We're in keto plus I have allergies, but Gabby and the kitchen were completely accommodating, and we had a very enjoyable meal. Plus, the freshly shucked half roasted oysters, which we saw being shucked and roasted right outside the window, were outstanding.
Very nice atmosphere and delicious, fresh food. I thought the way the menu was organized was very unique. Meats, breads, vegetables are organized separately on the menu for pairings. The pickled sides were also a nice touch. Immensely enjoyable and great service...will be back!
Top notch service without being pretentious. The food menu fits on a single page but it's well curated. My wife wanted to order everything. We had the Duck Breast and Pork Belly with a bottle of Lioco Carignan 2015. As an appetizer, we started with the Scallop Ceviche. Everything was delicious but I wouldn't order the Seared Pork Belly again... wasn't fond of the field peas.Overall, it was a fine dining experience without feeling like we had to dress up just to eat. The next time we're in Savannah, we'll definitely be back!
Great little spot in Savannah for a bite. I had the corned beef sandwich and it was amazing. The service was great and the waiter had excellent wine recommendations. The menu changes seasonally so it's always a fresh experience.
Great food. Always delighted to see what the kitchen is creating. Wine! Wine selection is amazing. Recommendations are great. Lots of unique and uncommon bottles that are fun to share while enjoying this neighborhood eatery. The owner is very involved almost every day so you know they care about making great experiences.
Great food. Very loud
Inventive food. Broad selection of choices. My wife and I went there twice on a recent trip to Savannah. We ordered different items in each time and they were all good excellent. Would highly recommend the Porchetta, the beef tenderloin, the fish was of the day and the bacon wrapped dates.
Great food, top notch service, tasty craft cocktails. Love the decor too. Definitely recommend.
Excelent service and delicious menu. The owner personally welcomed us and had a little chat, the waiter was amazing and made great recommendations, my husband made suggestions for a new drink and he actually made it and tried it out with the rest of the service! The beef bourguignon and the salmon was delicious, but the favorite was the carrots. The cafe Atlantic on ice and the chocolate mousse was the perfect way to end the night. Thanks everyone for an amazing dinner experience!
This place is fabulous. Great food, great servers, great chefs, engaged owners, and I could go on. The menu has continually evolved in the time it has been open and I believe the Atlantic will be a mainstay of any "top places to eat in Savannah" lists
Amazing food! They took great care of our large party and made regular's out of us. Thank you Atlantic!
I’ve always had a great experience at the Atlantic! Waiters are so helpful and call you by name. The cold weather draws us to the Atlantic because of the fire and oysters. This is one of the best menus out of every restaurant I’ve been to in Savannah.
This is the Most Awesome restaurant l have found in Savannah....Cody the bartender, owner makes this place so unique....great outside area with gas fire pits....small bar area for eating....the menu is limited but it is beyond fabulous and very diverse and l love that it is always changing......wine is always great and drinks especially are a work of art ......l am a foodie so l love the flavors they use and the unique dishes they create......the staff is the best and this place is packed so get there early on the weekends......love the fact that it was an old gas station/ garage that was remodeled......can't say enough good things about this place...the cost is well worth the experience but l treat myself to this place at least once or twice a month, MY GO TO PLACE!!!!
